Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II ‘Trygon’ update now available – Gematsu

Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have launched the “Trygon” update for the action-packed game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II. This update introduces a thrilling new player-versus-environment mission titled “Exfiltration,” where players face off against the formidable Trygon, a boss known for its guerrilla tactics and ability to burrow underground. This mission, available for free to all players, also features the debut of a new weapon, the Inferno Pistol.

In addition to the new mission, the update enhances the gaming experience with several quality-of-life improvements. These include the introduction of Prestige Ranks and Rewards, a rework of weapon perks, customizable colors for cloth and armor across all classes, and the ability to create custom player-versus-player lobbies for up to 12 players.

Furthermore, the update offers new downloadable content for Season Pass holders, including the Space Wolves Chapter Pack and the Imperial Fists Champion Pack. The former provides a new Champion skin, weapon skins, and over 50 unique cosmetics, while the latter includes a Champion skin for the Tactical class and a special Plasma Incinerator skin.
