Samsung’s new restrictive One UI Beta rule might come to more devices – SamMobile

Samsung has launched the One UI 7 update, initially available for the Galaxy S24 series, after a four-month beta period. This new update, based on Android 15, introduces several enhancements including Galaxy AI features like Audio Eraser and improved tools for writing and drawing. The One UI 7 also features the Now Bar, a new UI element that shows ongoing activities on both the lock screen and status bar.

Currently, the update is rolling out in select markets, with all Galaxy S24 users in Korea already able to download it. The update package is approximately 5.2GB in size and includes the April 2025 security patch. Users on the beta version of One UI 7 can switch to the stable release with a smaller download, while those on Android 14 and One UI 6 will need a larger download, for which a Wi-Fi connection is recommended.

The update is not yet available for the Galaxy S24 FE, but it is expected to be released before the end of the month. To update, Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra users should go to the Settings app, select Software update, and then choose Download and install. The rollout is phased, so immediate success in downloading the update might not be guaranteed.
