Minecraft is set to introduce its first major update of 2025, titled “Spring Into Life,” as part of its biannual update strategy initiated in September 2023. Announced during the latest Minecraft Live event, this update will bring a variety of new features to the game, including animal variants and innovative plant types. Notably, the long-awaited firefly bushes will be added, enhancing swampy and watery biomes with their twinkling lights. These bushes can also be placed under other blocks to illuminate players’ constructions.
