Chrono Trigger celebrates 30th anniversary; various projects beyond the game world planned – Gematsu

Square Enix is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the beloved RPG Chrono Trigger, which originally launched in Japan in 1995. To commemorate this milestone, the company has announced plans for various projects over the next year that will extend beyond the game itself. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for updates through Square Enix’s official X and @ChronoTriggerPR Twitter accounts. Additionally, a special live stream event featuring music from the Chrono Trigger soundtracks is scheduled for March 14, starting at 7:00 p.m. PT and concluding on March 15 at 4:00 a.m. PT. This event will be available for viewing on YouTube. Chrono Trigger is currently accessible on multiple platforms including PC via Steam, iOS, and Android, and has also been ported to the original PlayStation and Nintendo DS.
